Researching improvement of current potato production in the Columbia Basin by minimizing spread of pathogens through vector beetleaf hopper

Focused research on origination of maize production in the Southwest, ancient cassava production in Brazil’s Amazon, and the traditional ecological knowledge of the Coastal Salish around the Puget Sound, specifically using landscape fires

Presented on federal law and reservation food policies to the Council Chambers at Fort Hall Shoshone-Bannock Reservation, ID in March 2019
